Partner Meghan Magruder was recently one of the seven new council members elected to the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation. The Section of Litigation is dedicated to securing the vitality of the American system of justice and equal justice for all, while also providing its members the resources and opportunities to help them be effective and ethical advocates on behalf of their clients. For the last three years, Ms. Magruder has served as Chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Environmental Law and Policy.

During the July 30, 2003 Annual Meeting of the ABA, Ms. Magruder had the honor of presenting the ABA Award for Distinguished Achievement in Environmental Law and Policy to the Attorney General of California William Lockyer for the California District Attorneys Environmental Project.
