The American Lawyer has named WilmerHale a General Litigation Department of the Year finalist, in recognition of the firm’s exceptional litigation work. WilmerHale was recognized in eight awards, making it the law firm to receive the most recognitions in New England.

This year was the publication’s first-ever edition of the New England Legal Awards, which celebrates professional excellence in New England law. The Litigation Department’s network of attorneys—dozens who come from senior levels of government— builds the firms credibility in litigation matters. The cross-practice communication facilitates the success of the litigation department, which is recognized in being named a finalist. 

The winner will be announced at this year’s gala in Boston on September 21.
