On September 12, 2022, Phantom Neuro, a first-of-its-kind neurotech startup specializing in robotic orthopedic technologies, announced that it secured $6 million in its second round of funding. The round, which was led by new investor Time BioVentures, brings the company’s total funding to $9.5 million and included participation from returning investors LionBird Ventures, Draper Associates and Breakout Ventures. Phantom Neuro intends to utilize the new funds to advance its mission of enabling lifelike control of robotic orthopedic technologies like prosthetic limbs and exoskeletons.
