Anjan Sahni, Partner-in-Charge of WilmerHale’s New York office and Vice Chair of the firm’s White-Collar Defense and Investigations Practice, was named to the New York City Urban Debate League’s (NYCUDL) inaugural Legal Advisory Council.

Established in 2011, NYCUDL was formed to address the lack of debate programs offered in New York’s Title 1 schools. The organization aims to provide students from historically underserved communities access to debate opportunities through afterschool programs, debate practices, summer camps and tournaments. The twenty-five-member Law Advisory Council will serve as ambassadors for the organization, while also providing students the opportunity to network with and shadow some of the state’s top legal minds.
