Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly selected Cynthia Mazareas as a 2021 “Top Woman of Law” honoree. Each year, the publication honors women attorneys who have made tremendous professional strides and demonstrated great accomplishments in the legal field, including pro bono, advocacy, social justice and business.
Mazareas devotes her practice to life science companies, working with clients to provide strategic business counsel to boards, management teams and in-house counsel to navigate corporate matters and complex business transactions, including public offerings and venture capital financings. “I am proud to be recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly alongside the other honorees for my work as a woman lawyer in the life sciences industry,” Mazareas says. “I am grateful for the opportunity to provide legal counsel to clients in the life sciences sphere, playing a small role in transforming health outcomes and contribute to what I believe to be the most influential industry across the globe.”
The ”Top Women in Law” event celebrates the achievements and victories of exceptional women attorneys who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers and role models in their field. Mazareas and the other honorees, including Emily Schulman, were recognized at an awards ceremony on November 17.
