Tal Hacohen, Experienced M&A Attorney, Joins WilmerHale’s New York Office

WilmerHale is pleased to announce that Tal Hacohen, an accomplished M&A and corporate lawyer, has joined the firm as partner in our New York office.

Mr. Hacohen’s practice focuses on the representation of US and multinational public and private companies across industries in a broad range of complex transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and other strategic transactions. He also counsels companies on general corporate matters and in capital raising transactions, and advises boards of directors and shareholders on corporate, partnership and limited liability company law.

“Tal brings deep knowledge and extensive experience in representing clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including both the buy and sell-side of mergers and acquisitions,” said Susan Murley, co-managing partner of WilmerHale. “He will be a tremendous addition to our New York office and our M&A and corporate practices nationally.”

Over the course of his career, Mr. Hacohen has received various recognitions for his work on behalf of clients, including being named to the M&A Advisor’s “40 under 40” list, a “Rising Star” in M&A by IFLR and an “Acritas Star” by Acritas. Outside of the office, he can be found volunteering with organizations including Street Project of New York and New York Cares, or exploring different parts of the country and the world with his wife and three young children.

Mr. Hacohen received his JD from Fordham University and his BA from Emory University. He joins WilmerHale from another large global law firm in New York.
