A profile in the publication spotlights Ms. Nyong’o’s successful defense of former foreign currency trader Rohan Ramchandani against a price-fixing charge in a federal criminal trial in New York. That trial included Ms. Nyong’o’s high-stakes decision to have a former colleague of the client’s testify. That testimony was powerful and persuasive, contributing to jurors quickly returning an acquittal for Ms. Nyongo’s client and his two co-defendants.
