Bread for the City Spotlights WilmerHale’s Longtime Support

Firm News

Longtime WilmerHale community partner Bread for the City recognized the firm on its blog with the May 20 post "Corporate Partnership Spotlight: WilmerHale & 12 Years of Partnership."

“To say WilmerHale’s commitment to community service extends far and wide is an understatement,” reads the post. It summarizes some of the programs WilmerHale and volunteers from the firm’s Washington DC office has supported since the relationship began in 1996, including running mock trials and weekly enrichment programs for middle school students, hosting food and clothing drives, and pro bono legal work.

The post also highlights the firm’s response to COVID-19: “…the entire DC office came together through a fundraising drive to help us supply critical food and services to neighbors and families living with low incomes who were experiencing the increased burden of the pandemic. Their collective fundraising drive, currently at $32,686, helps us provide emergency food, COVID-19 testing and medical care, social services, and legal support during the public health crisis."
