Ross Firsenbaum, a New York-based partner, was named a recipient of the New York Law Journal’s Rising Star award, which recognizes the most talented lawyers in the New York region who are under the age of 40. He was chosen based on his outstanding professional achievement in representing major investment banks, broker dealers, investment advisors, corporations, and individuals in civil litigation and arbitration. He was also chosen for his influence and innovation in securities, bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation and arbitration. 

Mr. Firsenbaum was honored among attorneys and judges who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in New York and who have committed themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work. 

Charlie Platt and Roger Witten were also recognized, with Platt named a Distinguished Leader and Witten honored as a Lifetime Achiever. The honorees were recognized on October 23 at the New York Legal Awards at Tribeca 360 in New York City.
