Kimberly Parker, a Washington DC-based partner, has been featured by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) as a 2019 Rainmaker in the Spring edition of its Diversity & the Bar magazine.
This recognition names 11 prominent attorneys with especially noteworthy career accomplishments and an emphasis on demonstrated extraordinary pro bono commitment and service to the community. Among the honored attorneys are individuals from across the nation who have demonstrated innovative, consistent and proactive business development.
Ms. Parker’s profile features her work in co-leading WilmerHale’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Anti-Corruption Practice. Under her leadership, WilmerHale has achieved global recognition, including being ranked among the top three of the world’s leading investigations law firms by GIR since 2016.
The MCCA also highlights Mrs. Parker’s commitment to public service as co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono and Community Service Committee. “Providing legal support to underserved clients and communities has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career,” Parker notes.
Specifically, her extensive pro bono work in the field of women’s health and reproductive rights is highlighted through her successful representation of Planned Parenthood and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
