On September 6, 2018, Crux Informatics (Crux), a leading data engineering and information supply chain operator, announced it had entered into a strategic partnership with Two Sigma, one of the world's largest systematic investment management firms. Included in the terms of the partnership was a minority equity investment in Crux by Two Sigma, which will help grow the company’s platform to meet data-driven demands of the financial services industry. 

The WilmerHale team that represented Crux in the partnership agreement was led by Lisa Firenze and included Robert Finkel, Dave Gammell, Stephanie Singer, Hilary Baker-Jennings, Jared Brenner and Bill Warren.
