Cape Analytics, a company that meshes computer vision with geospatial imagery to bring property intelligence to US insurance companies, has raised $17 million in a Series B financing round led by insurance-centric venture capital fund, XL Innovate. The proceeds from the round will be used to grow the company’s artificial intelligence and aerial imagery platform for insurance companies.

The WilmerHale team representing Cape Analytics is led by Peter Buckland and includes Jaclyn Ammon, Alex Civetta and Heidi Treiber.
