Maxi Scherer Wins Global Arbitration Review Award for Best Speech

Professor Maxi Scherer, London-based special counsel and member of WilmerHale's International Arbitration Group, has received the Global Arbitration Review's award for best lecture or speech for her keynote at the Vienna Arbitration Days. Her speech discussed whether artificial intelligence (AI) will eliminate the human factor in international arbitration, and how AI may transform the decision making in the years to come.

Scherer, who is a professor at the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London, was honored during the GAR Awards held on April 12 in Paris.
