German In-House Counsel Survey Recommends WilmerHale as a Top Firm in Germany and the United States

In its fourth edition, kanzleimonitor.de 2016/2017 has ranked WilmerHale 39th out of the 100 most-recommended law firms in Germany and, as a result of the transatlantic cooperation between WilmerHale lawyers, fourth in the United States. The survey by the German Federal Association of In-House Counsels (Bundesverband der Unternehmensjuristen e.V.) is the first empirical study in Germany to focus solely on recommendations from in-house counsels.

Survey participants also recommended German firms and lawyers by industry and practice. In these rankings, WilmerHale earned recommendations in the transport and logistics industries, as well as in 13 other practice areas. For the second consecutive year, Partner Martin Braun was recognized individually in the field of data protection.

In-house counsels from 827 companies in various industries took part in this extensive, Germany-wide survey. Overall, more than 8,800 recommendations were made by lawyers and law firms across 31 practice areas.
