Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr Again Named Among the World’s Leading International Arbitration Firms in GAR 30

Firm News

Global Arbitration Review again featured Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in the top ranks of its prestigious GAR 30 list, which includes the leading international arbitration firms in the world. The results were revealed at the sixth annual GAR Awards dinner in Shanghai and are the culmination of a lengthy research process, conducted over several months. The firm's International Arbitration Practice has been included in these rankings every year since the list's inception nine years ago.

The GAR 30 looks at the number of merits and jurisdictional hearings the firm participated in during the past two years and the amount in dispute in those cases. Other criteria by which firms are assessed include the number of pending cases as arbitrator and counsel and the number of listings a firm achieved in the most recent edition of Who's Who Legal: Arbitration.

Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP offers one of the world's most active international arbitration practices, having been involved in more than 650 proceedings in recent years. The firm has successfully represented clients in a number of the largest institutional arbitrations and several of the most significant ad hoc arbitrations to arise in the past decade. The practice is headed by Gary Born, who is the world's leading authority on international arbitration and litigation.
