WilmerHale Event: Opportunities for Financial Investments in the Current Crisis - A Washington Perspective

This event, presented by WilmerHale, will discuss the current opportunities for investment in these times of economic challenge. The program will be led by Washington and New York partners and counsel practicing in our Corporate and Regulatory practice areas; one of the panelists was the most recent general counsel of the FDIC prior to joining WilmerHale this year and all panelists have significant experience working with financial institutions. Topics to be discussed include investments in, and acquisitions of, banks, acquisitions of loans and interests in other financial assets (including acquisitions directly from the FDIC and participation in PPIP and related programs), and important governance issues for investors. The panel discussion will be followed by ample time for questions and answers and will conclude with a cocktail hour.
