Massachusetts Superior Court: 150th Anniversary

Massachusetts Superior Court will hold a symposiumat the Boston Public Library to explore the historical origin of the Superior Court, the impact of themes such as judicial independence in notable cases, and future challenges facing the court. Professor Stephen Burbank of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and National Public Radio host Tom Ashbrook will serve as panel moderators. Following the symposium, United States Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer will deliver the keynote address at a commemorative dinner hosted by the Supreme Judicial Court Historical Society and the Massachusetts Bar Association. This will take place beginning at 6:00 pm at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston.
