The International Centre for Dispute Resolution Young and International (ICDR Y&I) will co-host, along with SciencesPo Law School and Queen Mary, University of London, a program on "Conflicting Decisions in International Commercial Arbitration."

The keynote speaker is Professor Pierre Mayer, Dechert LLP (Paris). Prof. Pierre Mayer will address the topic of conflicting decisions in international commercial arbitration, and, more precisely, potential conflicts between two State judgments concerning one award, conflicts between a judgment and an award, and conflicts between two awards. The keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion with Laurie Achtouk-Spivak, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (Paris), Jan-Michael Ahrens, Siemens AG (Erlangen), Marie Berard, Clifford Chance LLP (London) and Ana Vermal, Proskauer Rose LLP (Paris).
