Speaking Engagement

Harvard Law School presented a seminar entitled, "United States v. Microsoft: Ten Years Later." This conference looked back over the last ten years and explored the lasting lessons and deeper meanings of the case for Microsoft, for the software and technology industries, and for antitrust law and enforcement. Attendees were reintroduced to the landmark antitrust case that the U.S. Department of Justice and 20 states filed against Microsoft, as well as given the first retrospective examining the lawsuit and its aftermath from the perspective of many of the participants in the original case and trial.

WilmerHale Partner Douglas Melamed was a featured panelist at this conference. The panel was entitled, "Assessing Market Power and Anticompetitive Conduct in Dynamic, Innovation Driven Markets: Economic and Legal Lessons from US v. Microsoft."
