Georgetown International Arbitration Society's International Arbitration Month

Georgetown International Arbitration Society's International Arbitration Month

Speaking Engagement

GIAS is a student organization composed of JD and LLM students of Georgetown University Law Center, dedicated to the promotion of international arbitration and dispute settlement.  GIAS was created in 2008 to facilitate discussion among students, academics and practitioners on issues concerning international arbitration.

International Arbitration Month is an event that reflects the growing importance of arbitration internationally and addresses the desire of students and practitioners to gain expertise in this field. International Arbitration Month will consist of a series of panels on contemporary issues in international commercial and investment arbitration with distinguished speakers, and will be open to both practitioners and law students in the Washington D.C. area.

WilmerHale Partner David Bowker will participate in "Workshop on Discovery, Direct and Cross-Examination in International Arbitration" at this event.
