The Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA)’s annual Bench and Bar Conference will be held at the Meritage Resort in Napa Valley, California, from Wednesday, June 18, through Saturday, June 21.
On Friday, June 20, WilmerHale Partner Omar Khan will co-moderate the conference’s Ethics panel. The discussion will cover key issues related to third-party involvement in patent litigation—including litigation financing—multi-jurisdictional practice, Federal Circuit Rule 50 concerning the employment of former law clerks, ethical considerations in settlement and negotiation tactics, and Rule 11 issues related to pleadings.
