Partner Charlie Caher will speak on panel titled "Enforcement, Legitimacy and the Future of Arbitration" at the ICC UK Arbitration Masterclass – Dispute Resolution in a Geopolitical World in London on June 17, 2025.
The session will examine the evolving landscape of arbitrating disputes in a world of overlapping sanctions, war, and national security concerns, including:
- enforcement in politically sensitive or hostile jurisdictions;
- diverging court responses to arbitral awards; and
- legitimacy, reform, and the future of multilateral dispute frameworks (e.g. UNCITRAL, ICSID, NY Convention).
