Partner Lauren Mandell will participate in a round table discussion for the Stability and Change in International Investment Law online conference, organized jointly by AUWCL Center on International Commercial Arbitration and the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law.
The panel, titled “The Industrialized Economies’ Response to the Transformations in International Investment Law,” will provide valuable insights on what the industrialized economies looked like in 2000, how it looks today and what it might look like in the future regarding the policy approach to investment protection, as well as the normative approach to both incoming and outgoing foreign direct investment. The panelists will discuss how these potentially changing priorities impact investment protection, including investment arbitration.
