The 38th AAA-ICDR-ICC-ICSID Joint Colloquium on International Arbitration will be taking place May 21, 2024, in Washington DC. The Colloquium will feature updates on trends and initiatives from the three institutions, interactive sessions on issues at the forefront of commercial and investment arbitration, and an opportunity to network with practitioners and arbitrators from around the world.

WilmerHale Partner Rachael Kent will be serving on the panel, “What science tells us about effective persuasion in arbitral practice” from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. ET. Drawing from the fields of psychology, sociology and communication science, this session will explore the art of persuasion and how to leverage science-based techniques for effective opening presentations, witness preparation and cross-examination.
