Matthew F. Ferraro served as a panelist during the DeepTrust Alliance's FixFake Symposium in Washington DC on November 14. He spoke about pending and adopted legislation and regulations of manipulated media. This is an area about which he wrote a recent client alert, “Deepfake Legislation: A Nationwide Survey.”  The symposium, which convened representatives from industry, government, academia and civil society, sought to build solutions to tackle the dangers posed by deepfakes and disinformation.
