Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, supported by the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem – CBAr), is delighted to invite you to a seminar on the subject of “What to Expect When Arbitrating in Brazil: Recent Developments in International Arbitrations and the Institutional Landscape”, featuring Professor Peter Sester.
Professor Sester is a practising Brazilian and German lawyer and also serves as Director, Institute of Public Finance, Fiscal Law and Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He will discuss recent developments in Brazilian arbitration, including market, institutional and legal developments (jurisprudence and new legislation). The institutional landscape will cover both domestic institutions and international arbitration chambers administrating Brazilian-related disputes.
Gary Born, Chair of the International Arbitration Practice at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, will comment on Professor Sester's analysis.
The seminar will be followed by a networking reception.
