The ICC YAF Conference is part of the ICC Pre-Moot for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. It will be organised in the evening of the first Pre-Moot day. The panels will address issues related security for costs, and the publication of arbitral awards.
The conference will bring together young arbitration practitioners and moot participants to discuss two important issues of today's international arbitration. The first panel will address an issue related to the security for costs. The second panel will discuss the benefits and downsides of enhanced transparency in international arbitration.
WilmerHale Senior Associate Marija Scekic will take part in an Oxford-style debate on transparency in international arbitration and will argue in favor of the motion that international arbitration awards should be published.
