The National Cybersecurity Center will host the 2016 Cyber Institute, a gathering of 40 state and local leaders from around the United States. WilmerHale Partner Alejandro Mayorkas will be the closing keynote speaker at this event. His discussion, "Cybersecurity and DHS Homeland Cyber Defense," will focus on augmenting national cybersecurity for the government, public and private sectors through initiative such as the NCC and other state complimentary centers and programs nationwide. The session will provide a conclusion that highlights the needs and collective cybersecurity challenges facing senior elected officials and possible solutions, both organically and through DHDS.
