The Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals National Conference will host its annual conference in Chicago this June, offering a comprehensive program with 28 breakout sessions and eight plenary sessions, plus time to network with fellow members. The opening address will be given by Mary Jo White, SEC Chair; the luncheon address will be given by David Axelrod, former Senior Advisor to President Obama and author of new bestseller Believer: My 40 Years in Politics; and Cokie Roberts, political commentator for ABC News and NPR, and best-selling author, will speak at the closing brunch.
The program is designed for corporate secretaries, in house and outside counsel, and governance professionals at public companies of all sizes, as well as private and nonprofit entities. It is also designed for those who need a review and update of topics core to their role, as well as those who are thought leaders and cutting edge practitioners.
WilmerHale Partner Meredith Cross will participate as a panelist for the breakout session “SEC Developments.”
