William C. Kinder

Senior Associate


Will Kinder represents clients in complex commercial disputes, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation. He has experience in nearly all phases of civil litigation, including pre-suit investigation and pleadings, conducting witness interviews, coordinating fact and expert discovery, taking and preparing witnesses for depositions, and drafting dispositive motions. He also has experience representing clients in government investigations and immigration proceedings.    

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Kinder was a law clerk for the Honorable Timothy S. Hillman of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Before law school, Mr. Kinder was an education policy associate at the Children's Defense Fund in Washington DC.

On behalf of client and artist Matt Furie, the creator of Pepe the Frog, WilmerHale has enforced Furie's intellectual property rights to shut down distribution of Eric Hauser's controversial children's book The Adventures of Pepe and Pede.
