Rothberg, Sam

Samantha (Sam) Rothberg's practice focuses on all aspects of corporate law. She represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences and financial services.

In 2014, Ms. Rothberg was a summer associate at WilmerHale, where she focused on corporate matters. While in law school, Ms. Rothberg researched intellectual property and business strategy in the American fashion industry for Harvard Law School Professor William Fisher and Harvard Business School Professor Felix Oberholzer-Gee. She also researched legal issues relating to open source software licensing for Harvard Law School's Cyberlaw Clinic. Ms. Rothberg was also a legal intern at the General Counsel of the Massachusetts Information Technology Division, where she focused on various legal matters relating to Software-as-a-Service vendor agreements and technology services procurement agreements.

In 2013, Ms. Rothberg was a legal and corporate affairs intern in the Windows Project Group at Microsoft. In that capacity, she analyzed ongoing developments in international copyright and trademark law, and researched domestic and international case law regarding software contracts and licensing.

Previously, Ms. Rothberg was a communications associate at Public Interest GRFX, where she counseled nonprofit clients in the development of a comprehensive communications and outreach strategy.
