WilmerHale Antitrust and Competition partners are among the panel participants at the 63rd ABA Section of Antitrust Law Spring Meeting that will be held April 15-17, 2015 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington DC. The Spring Meeting is the largest antitrust and consumer protection conference in the world, with more than 2,500 registered attendees each year.

For the third consecutive year, WilmerHale Partner Hartmut Schneider is co-chairing the Spring Meeting and will co-moderate the traditional “Hot Topics” panel discussion from 3:15 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. Schneider will also serve as one of the questioners during the Enforcers’ Roundtable from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 17.

In addition, the following WilmerHale partners will moderate or participate in panels at this year’s event:

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

  • Partner John Ratliff (Brussels) will moderate a panel titled “Cross-National Merger Remedies: Still Safe in Antarctica” from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Partner Thomas Mueller (DC) will participate in a panel titled “Next Generation Cartels: New Tools for Enforcers’ Toolkits?” from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m.
  • Partner Jim Lowe (DC) will participate in a panel titled “Antitrust Risks of Minority Acquisitions: US and Worldwide” from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

The Spring Meeting features more than 50 substantive sessions across a wide range of topics in antitrust and consumer protection law, both here in the US and abroad. More information about the Spring Meeting can be viewed here.
