Gail Hyman focuses her practice on bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Hyman was an associate at another law firm in New York where she focused on representing a variety of clients in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including chapter 11 debtors, ad hoc groups of bondholders and financial institutions.

While attending law school, Ms. Hyman was a research assistant for Professor Arthur R. Miller and was an intern with the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York and at the Office of the Appellate Defender. Prior to pursuing her law degree, she was an intern to the Curator of Photography at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Professional Activities

Ms. Hyman is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
