WilmerHale Special Counsel Bruce Fekrat was a featured panelist at this event. He presented on the topic "The Nuts and Bolts of Reporting and Recordkeeping," which discussed the regulatory requirements for maintaining records of derivative transactions, as well as the reporting requirements associated with cleared and uncleared transactions. The panel also discussed the regulatory requirements and operational issues relating to Swap Data Repositories, and the CFTC’s final rules requiring large trader reporting of certain commodity swaps and the real time public reporting of swaps.
