For over 40 years, The Appeal of Conscience Foundation has been actively involved in furthering religious freedom, human rights, tolerance and inter-religious dialogue in Russia, China, Central Asia, the Balkans, Central Europe, Argentina, Cuba and Turkey. On September 23, the ACF will hold its Annual Awards Dinner in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. ACF Chairman, Jeffrey R. Immelt, CEO of General Electric, will be honored at this event. Also being honored are President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy and Mayor of the City of New York Michael Bloomberg.
