International Arbitration and Contract Enforcement in Central Asia

The two-day webinar was organized to help the governments of Central Asia strengthen dispute-settlement capacities, particularly international arbitration and contract enforcement for domestic firms. The event stems from findings of the OECD report on Improving the Legal Environment for Business and Investment in Central Asia that identified these issues as priorities for reform in Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan).
