Tunç Savaş is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department and is a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. 

Mr. Savaş has represented clients involved in the construction, oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing and hospitality sectors on commercial and investment arbitrations under a variety of rules, including the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL and SIAC Rules. Mr. Savaş has particular experience with investor-state disputes. Mr. Savaş also has experience in commercial proceedings in Turkish courts.

    • Representing a construction company in an ICC arbitration in a dispute involving the hospitality sector.
    • Representing a businessman in an ICC arbitration against several individuals relating to the transfer of a major commercial property. 
    • Representing a shipping company in an LMAA arbitration against a State-owned energy company in a dispute arising out of a joint venture.
    • Representing an investor in an ICSID arbitration against a Middle Eastern State relating to the granting of a license in the telecommunications sector.
    • Representing a railway manufacturing company in an ICSID arbitration against an Eastern European State relating to the termination of a joint venture for the construction of railcars.
    • Representing a construction company in an ICSID arbitration against a Central Asian State relating to the construction of government buildings.
    • Representing an investor in an ICSID arbitration against a Middle Eastern State relating to the construction of a power plant.
