Tom Davidson counsels clients on a wide range of investigations matters including complex securities, sanctions, FCPA, corporate governance and compliance issues. Mr. Davidson’s practice focuses on the banking, cryptocurrency, finance and technology industries.

Mr. Davidson has represented several large multinational corporations and individuals in a range of DOJ, Federal Reserve System and SEC enforcement matters. He regularly prepares clients for testimony before various government agencies and engages directly with regulators.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Davidson was an associate at another firm in San Francisco, CA where he coordinated a multi-year bet-the-company government investigation for a billion-dollar corporation. He also co-led multiple data incident investigations for large technology and consulting firms and served as counsel on several shareholder and consumer class action lawsuits. Mr. Davidson maintains an active pro bono practice primarily focused on record clearance, asylum petitions and access to housing. Previously, Mr. Davidson was a legal intern on the San Francisco City Attorney’s Government Team. While working towards his JD, he was a senior project manager with the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium. Prior to law school, Mr. Davidson was a legal operations associate with Google Inc., and a strategy and operations consultant with Deloitte Consulting LLP.
