Richard Nellari focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, including intellectual property litigation. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Nellari worked as an intellectual property associate at another global law firm. He has handled matters in a variety of technologies, including semiconductors, television and streaming operating systems, social media applications, targeted advertising and drug delivery systems. In addition to district court practice, Mr. Nellari's patent experience includes inter partes review at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Nellari has also worked on IP transactional work, including licensing agreements and IP diligence for technology and life sciences clients.

Mr. Nellari maintains an active pro bono clientele, where he has represented a variety of pro bono clients, including veterans seeking combat-related special compensation as well as victims of credit card and loan fraud.
