Raj Ashar advises clients on a broad range of financial regulatory matters. He previously held internships at the Department of Justice, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the US Department of the Treasury.

During law school, Mr. Ashar worked as a student attorney in the Consumer Protection Clinic at the WilmerHale Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School. He also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Howell Jackson, contributing to the Oxford Handbook of Corporate Law and Governance and Financial Regulation: Law and Policy (4th ed.). Mr. Ashar has published on bank regulation in the University of Miami Business Law Review and Harvard Business Law Review Columns.
