Pilar D’Ocon focuses her practice on EU competition law. Ms. D’Ocon specializes in State aid and regulatory issues, where she has more than 8 years of experience. Ms. D’Ocon first acquired her experience by working at the Legal Department of the Spanish National Authority for Competition (CNMC) dealing with energy and telecommunication issues; the DG Competition at the European Commission (EC); and, at the private sector where she worked in major Spanish, Italian and American firms. Ms. D’Ocon also has broad sectorial experience, in particular in the field of renewables, infrastructure, transport and technology. 

Ms. D’Ocon has also litigated a significant number of cases before the European Courts in Luxembourg and before international institutions such as the European Commission and the national competition authorities.

Ms. D’Ocon is currently Counsel in the Brussels Office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) where she is a member of the Antitrust and Litigation Department.
