Peggy L. Giunta is the Chief Legal Personnel and Professional Development Officer and the Chief Practice Management Officer at WilmerHale.

In these roles, Ms. Giunta works with firm management to support WilmerHale’s strategic objectives in the areas of legal talent and legal department and practice group management.

Ms. Giunta oversees all legal personnel and development functions worldwide, focusing on the firm’s goal to maintain its reputation for excellence in the delivery of client service by attracting, developing, managing and retaining the highest quality attorney talent. Ms. Giunta leads a team of directors who have functional responsibility for all attorney recruitment, compensation, evaluation, development and training and attorney diversity programs.

Ms. Giunta also leads the Practice Management Department, which has functional responsibility for managing the people, technology and business needs of the firm’s legal department and practice groups. In this capacity, she leads a team of directors and managers who work with the firm’s legal department chairs to manage these groups’ business functions. These functions include, case team staffing; business and strategic reporting and budget and financial reporting. Ms. Giunta also directs the activities of WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions, which provides clients with exceptional e-discovery services.

Ms. Giunta has more than 28 years of experience in the human resource and management fields, 25 of which have been spent at WilmerHale.
