Milosz Palej is a Senior Associate in WilmerHale’s Litigation/Controversy Department and a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. He represents clients in high value, complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on international arbitration.

Mr. Palej has extensive experience acting in commercial arbitrations under a broad range of institutional rules, including the ICC, SIAC, LCIA, and HKIAC Rules, as well as in investment treaty arbitrations. He is also a qualified solicitor advocate and has significant experience acting for clients in complex commercial proceedings before the English courts, including in matters arising out of or connected with arbitration, particularly at the enforcement stage. 

Mr. Palej’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, mining and natural resources, major construction and infrastructure projects, insolvency and restructuring, and shareholder and joint venture disputes. He has acted in arbitrations and litigation governed by a variety of laws, including English law, Singapore law, Indian law, UAE law, Polish law, and Thai law. In addition to his practice, Mr. Palej teaches comparative law as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine Caruso Law School’s London Campus, focusing on comparative approaches to private and public law issues arising in cross border disputes and international arbitration.

Mr. Palej maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented and advised clients in matters concerning human rights and housing before international courts and the English Court of Appeal. He also serves as a trustee on the board of a leading UK based charity dedicated to ending female genital mutilation and other forms of violence against women and girls. His pro bono work has been shortlisted for both the 2026 LexisNexis Halsbury Rule of Law Award and the 2026 The Lawyer Awards.
