Meredith Loretta has represented a broad range of companies and organizations, including financial institutions, technology companies, accounting firms, CPG companies, and universities, in complex securities enforcement matters and other high-stakes government and internal investigations. She advises clients on regulatory compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements. She also manages subpoena responses, conducts witness interviews, prepares for regulatory testimony, and drafts substantive written work product, such as white papers and investigative reports. Meredith has experience with investigations involving the SEC, FINRA, DOJ and other regulators. She brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to navigating sensitive and high-profile matters. Meredith is also committed to pro bono service; most recently, she helped secure a significant victory for a veteran seeking compensation for disabilities sustained during deployment.

Meredith was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016 and gained early experience across a broad array of investigative and litigation matters. Before rejoining the firm, Meredith clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Rebecca Beach Smith in the Eastern District of Virginia. While completing her legal education, she was an employment, civil rights and labor policy intern for the Office of Chief Counsel in the Transportation Security Administration. Before law school, Meredith taught middle school mathematics in New Orleans and worked with the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.
