Megan McKoy focuses her practice on complex government and regulatory litigation matters. She defends clients in investigations by the US Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission and conducts internal investigations. Prior to joining WilmerHale, she was a litigation associate at a national boutique litigation firm. Previously, Ms. McKoy clerked for the Honorable Ellen Hollander of the US District Court for the District of Maryland and for the Honorable Carlton Reeves of the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. 

During law school, Ms. McKoy was a summer litigation associate for an international law firm and a law clerk in the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. 

Community Involvement 

Ms. McKoy serves on the executive boards of the Washington DC Stanford Association and the Stanford Young Alumni Philanthropy Council. She is also a member of the Lawyers’ Alliance for the Public Justice Center.
