Matthew R. Lewis represents clients in complex litigation and investigations, including commercial disputes, securities matters, and shareholder litigation. Matthew also advises technology companies on regulatory and legal issues affecting their products and businesses, including emerging AI requirements.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lewis was a law clerk for the Honorable Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. in the US District Court of the Northern District of California. He was an associate at one other firm, where he developed disclosure materials, drafted memoranda and researched issues related to merger and acquisition litigation and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. During law school, Mr. Lewis was an extern in the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and a research assistant at New York University School of Law. He also was a teaching assistant at NYU’s international legal writing program.
