Matthew R. Lewis focuses his practice on securities enforcement and litigation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lewis was a law clerk for the Honorable Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. in the US District Court of the Northern District of California. He was an associate and summer associate at two other firms, where he developed disclosure materials, drafted memoranda and researched issues related to merger and acquisition litigation and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. During law school, Mr. Lewis was an extern in the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and a research assistant at New York University School of Law. He also was a teaching assistant at NYU’s international legal writing program.

Prior to law school, Mr. Lewis was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on military clients at the US Army and Defense Intelligence Agency.
