Margaret Artz is a counsel in the Litigation/Controversy Department and a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group and the Appellate & Supreme Court Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on the resolution of international commercial disputes from a range of industries including renewable energy, aerospace, and oil and gas. Ms. Artz has represented clients before ad hoc and institutional arbitral tribunals including the LCIA and ICC.   

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Artz was an associate in the Frankfurt office of a global law firm focused on international commercial and investor-State arbitration. She also has experience in the public international law sphere as a member of a defense trial team at an international criminal tribunal. Ms. Artz served as a law clerk in a federal district court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She contributes to various litigation matters and pro bono matters.
