Madeline Lewis has an extensive practice focused on advising clients on compensation and employees benefits matters, including applicable tax, employment and securities issues. Ms. Lewis has represented both individuals and employers in the negotiation and implementation of compensation arrangements, including equity or cash incentive arrangements, employment, retention and severance agreements, and deferred compensation programs. In addition, she has represented domestic and multinational corporations and other entities in the employment and benefits issues arising in the context of mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, restructurings and other corporate transactions, including in the negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements and the drafting of securities related disclosure. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Lewis was an executive compensation and employee benefits counsel at another international law firm in New York.
