Lucyanna Burke advises financial institutions on regulatory matters, with a focus on anti-money laundering (AML) laws and sanctions. She also represents financial institutions in government investigations and enforcement actions.

While at WilmerHale, Ms. Burke completed a secondment at an international universal bank, where she advised business and compliance teams on matters related to AML, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption laws.

Ms. Burke also maintains an active pro bono practice at the Firm, with a focus on criminal appeals and death penalty proceedings.

Ms. Burke previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Prior to law school, Ms. Burke worked for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the Fair Labor Division and at the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Boston.
