Lixin Wang is a senior technology specialist whose practice focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property matters involving advanced materials, chemical engineering, and energy technologies. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Wang was a patent engineer at Aspen Aerogels and a patent agent at another international law firm. She also brings extensive industry experience from her roles as a scientist at A123 Systems LLC and BASF Battery Materials – Ovonic, as well as an internship at General Motors Research and Development Center. She is registered to practice before the USPTO. 

Dr. Wang earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and an MS in Electric-Drive Vehicle Engineering from Wayne State University. She also holds an MS in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Hebei University of Science and Technology in China.
